We've got tips--from benign to taboo--on what can be composted. Are you in? Whether you're interested in simple form composting or vermiculture (composting using worms), this class will teach you how to start, maintain and expand your composting production. Items you never thought of can be composted! Post-it notes, human hair, and even urine can be sanitarily composted. Learn more at this interesting class!
Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms in the Garden

In our first fungi class, you'll learn how to incorporate edible and medicinal mushrooms into the flow of your garden. Instructor Sam "the mushroom man" will give instruction on establishing outdoor beds, fungal recycling, and how fungi can be utilized to increase your gardens moisture holding capacity.

Now you don't have to keep your hands to yourself with the

Bark Alternative: Local, Affordable and Made from 100% Recycled Materials
If you're looking for affordable weed control and ground cover, you've got to check out our "BTB: Better-than-Bark". The recycled woodtrimmings of local pine trees, this walk-on bark substitute sells for less than a quarter of the price of traditional bark, is brought in from a local independent tree-trimming service and is a perfect natural ground covering that keeps weeds at bay. It's what we cover our grounds with at the nursery and sells for $12 per yard and much less for smaller amounts (bring your own container or bag). Delivery available.
Sweet Music: Concerts in the Garden 8/22 @4pm
Concerts in the Garden will kick off Sunday, August 22nd at 4pm. We'll be open extra hours that Sunday: from 9am-6pm. Bring your own cool beverages and enjoy our newly built Concert in the Garden Stage in the shade. Nearby is the children's play area so you'll be able to bring the whole family!
