You’ll learn about the many benefits of fermenting your own food. Then you’ll see a live demo on how to make sauerkraut and kimchi. Finally, you can participate and start your very own batch, and take home your own Fermenters Club jar!

[Free Cooking Class] Make your own Simple Cheeses

You’ll learn the process of making your own creme fraiche, mascarpone, yogurt cheeses, feta and ricotta. We will cover the basics of sterilization of products and equipment as well as starting with the best milk products. You’ll also learn how to use herbs to infuse your cream and milk for decadent flavor.

Want to play scientist? This class will teach you how to graft. Grafting is a horticultural technique where tissues from one plant are inserted into those of another so that the two sets of vascular tissues may join together. There are no silly questions. No where is that truer than in our Vegetable Gardens 101 class. Learn how to choose a space for growing, what to plant when, and how to water and care for your vegetable garden. This class will turn your brown thumb green.
