From bonsai to bare root...January 15, 2014

Apple (1)A yard you can snack from...We have a large selection of bare-root plants such as artichokes, apples, apricots, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears, figs, pomegranates, grapes, walnuts, almonds, pecans, mulberries, quince, persimmons, and berries! We have potted these plants with good planting mix to use as a soil amendment.

 

 

QuinoaGreat Grains! Have you heard of Quinoa?? Amaranth?? Fava beans?? Join us in the Big Kitchen to learn some delicious new uses of ancient grains and beans. Recipes include using grains in salads, baked goods, and breakfast meals. Vegan and gluten-free recipes included.

  • Scottish moss
  • mondo grass

Our bonsai pottery selection is awesome with much to chose from. The new potting soil mix we have come up with is great for bonsai replanting.

Add a few new vegetables to your winter garden; we have plenty for sale in dig 'em ups and potted plants. A fresh shipment of herbs came in this week. It feels good to be able walk outside and snip a few herbs to flavor what's cooking inside!
