An Early Bird Weekend at City Farmers...

Gardening doesn't have to be complicated. In fact, here at City Farmers,

we believe it should be simple.

 

This Saturday morning, April 18, come learn the basics of gardening in San Diego with Farmer Bill. We'll talk about soil, watering, planting schedules, maintenance and pest control.

City Farmers' Cobb oven expert, Jason Thomas, will teach you how to create cobb structures, specifically an outdoor oven that you take home!

Looking ahead...

Our Spring Art in the Garden event is next weekend!

We fill our nursery paths with the unique crafts of our local arts community.

Saturday, April 25, 9am-4pm.

Complimentary, offsite shuttle parking is available.    Art in the Garden information

 

If you are planning to purchase bulk soil next weekend (April 25), please come by before Saturday. Our parking lots get a little full  during Art in the Garden, and we find it best to give our tractor the day off. Bulk purchases will resume again on Sunday. 

 

Greenhouse News

Here are some of the unique herbs we have available this week:

  • African potato mint
  • Stevia
  • White sage

The veggie section is fully stocked; roses are bloomin'; lots of color 6-packs;

a good planting weekend is ahead!
