Sprouted Flour Workshop: Wholesome Grains and Heirloom Flour.
There is much more then white flour to bake your best bread at home.
Learn to bake with all kinds of new and "old" flours. New inspiration for healthy, flavorful and trendy bread baking will be covered in the class.
-Understand benefits of whole grain, sprouted and artisan flour
-Baking techniques with heirloom grains
-Learn to bake with lower gluten flour, like Einkorn, Emmer, Kamut (Khorasan) and Spelt
During this workshop, participants will taste bread samples baked with sprouted flour and heirloom grains.
Participants will also recieve a whole grain natural starter culture (Sourdough/ Wild Yeast).
This class is not for beginners who have never baked bread before - if that's you, our "Basic Bread Baking 101" class is a wonderful class to attend. This class is ideal for those who already have some bread baking knowledge, have attended our Basic Bread Baking class in the past, or those who already bake bread at home. This class will extend your knowledge and branch into new flours and techniques.
