Mushrooms Made Simple: Indoors & In the Garden 🍄🌱

Ever wonder how mushrooms are grown?

In this hands-on class, we’ll walk through the indoor life cycle of mushrooms—what commercial growers do in high-tech grow rooms, and how we can borrow those techniques and recreate them with simple, low-tech setups at home or in the garden 🏡🌾.

👩‍🌾. Expect lots of visuals, live demos, and practical tips you can actually use 🎥🛠️✨. Whether you’re brand new or have a few grows under your belt, you’ll leave with a clearer picture (and maybe some garden blocks!) to get started 🍽️

This class is taught by Max Goronnson

🌻 Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants

🌳 We’d love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for a fun morning of casual learning under the trees

🎟️ Free to attend, no RSVP required.

🚶‍♀️ We kindly ask that if you take advantage of a free class, and if mobility allows, please consider finding street parking on Altadena Ave and walk over, helping us keep our small parking lot open for those who need it.

📦🚗💨 You can pop by our "Loading Zone" afterwards for easy parking-free loading!
