🌱🪱 Building Healthy Soil in Clay and Sandy Soils

Strong gardens start below the surface, and local soils can use a little help. Clay and sandy soils each bring their own challenges, but both can be improved with the right approach. Learn how to improve San Diego clay and sandy soils with the right amendments, compost, mulch, and practical soil-building strategies that support healthier roots and better plant growth. This class is a deeper look at one of the most important parts of gardening.

🚜 Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants.

☀️ We'd love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for a fun morning of casual learning.

🧴 During warmer months, hats, sunscreen, water recommended.

🦆 Free to attend, no RSVP required.
