Join us in our open-air classroom for a Gardening 101 class that explores the benefits, and reasoning, and a little lore behind gardening in San Diego’s unique climate.

Learn why growing your own food is possible, how to conserve water, and the best plants for our area.

We’ll cover topics like tackling our soils, native plants and pollinators, and how gardening has evolved.

Whether you’re new to gardening or looking to improve your skills, this class will give you the knowledge and confidence to grow in San Diego’s diverse environment.

Cost: Free to attend, no RSVP required.

Carpooling is always encouraged and the 965 bus stops right across the street!

Altadena Avenue offers plenty of street parking, and is only two walkable blocks away.
