Bean to Bar Chocolate Class with San Diego Chocolate Co
Ever wonder how a tropical fruit becomes your favorite treat? Join us as we journey through the fascinating world of chocolate making. From how and where cacao is grown, to post-harvest fermentation and drying, all the way through roasting, winnowing, refining, tempering and molding. We will walk you through every step of the bean-to-bar process and discuss why choosing intentionally sourced, sustainable chocolate matters. We'll wrap up with a tasting of two different origins so you can experience firsthand how origin shapes flavor. This class is taught by San Diego Chocolate Company.
