Kids Entrepreneurship Session

This Summer: Cultivating Young Entrepreneurs

This summer, we’re growing something new at the nursery: a place where young minds can plant and grow their first business ideas, just like we’ve always nurtured plants.

Kids Entrepreneurship Learning Sessions
Come by for one of our free, drop-in workshops where kids can meet real business owners, including Sam Tall of City Farmers and Cris Juarez of Inecui Floral. Together, we’ll explore what it takes to become an Idea Presenter or Maker Vendor at our summer fair.

🚜 Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants.

Choose one date to attend:

  • Saturday, June 14

  • Friday, June 27

  • Friday, July 11

No RSVP needed. Just pick a session, stop by, and get ready for something fun.

Pathway to Kids Entrepreneurship Day
These sessions help young entrepreneurs prepare for Kids Entrepreneurship Day on August 15, when they can set up a table and share their creations with the community. To take part, kids need to attend at least one learning session.

We’ll make sure everyone gets a chance to shine, even the quieter ones. In a world full of screens, there’s something special about talking to someone face-to-face, answering their questions, and sharing what you’ve made.

Join us this summer to learn, grow, and celebrate creativity, courage, and big ideas on August 15.

☀️ We'd love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for casual learning, informed by over 50 years of experience.

🦆 Free to attend, no RSVP required.

🕰️ Class times can change or shift, we recommend you check our website for the most up-to-date (cityfarmersnursery.com).

🚙 Parking Notice for Class Participants If you're attending a free class and are able to walk a short distance, please consider parking on Altadena Ave and walking over. This keeps our lot available for customers shopping at our three businesses who may be on tight schedules.

When classes fill up, a full parking lot can prevent other shoppers from visiting our stores. By parking on the street, you help ensure everyone can access our businesses.

Planning to shop? No worries! You can easily swing back through our "Loading Zone" after class for convenient drive-up loading of bulky purchases—no parking required.
