Roses! It's always a good time to learn scheduled maintenance of roses - which happens between mid April and mid November.
San Diego professional rose specialist and groomer/maintainer Max Stromberger will teach you everything you need to know about rose basics and care.
This class is free to attend. No RSVP required.
Taught by rose enthusiast and professional maintainer and San Diegan, Max Stromberger, Max will also take pruning questions, talk about best practices (like not pruning more than 30%) and how to plan your pruning to ensure your roses grow with lots of support.
Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants.
We'd love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for a fun morning of casual learning.
We kindly ask that if you take advantage of a free class, and if mobility allows, that consider finding street parking on Altadena Ave and walk over, keeping our parking lot open. You can pop by our "Loading Zone" afterwards for easy parking-free loading!
